The finance department aims to educate and inform its members on all matters relating to the finance industry. We achieve this through a plethora of career-orientated events.
In 2019, this included the Finance 101 event that saw the participation of a panel of interns and industry professionals from some of the most prolific financial organisations of the world. This event saw over 200 attendees from all backgrounds and universities. To learn more about this event, please visit its project report page.
In addition, the department runs annual professional applications workshops that cater to students by teaching them how to navigate the corporate landscape and how to tailor their applications to maximise their success. To learn more about this project, please visit its project report page.
Founded in 2016 by Andrea Mazzoleni (9th President of the King’s Business Club) and Eeshita Pande, the Finance department has been at the fore-front of some of the largest projects at the King’s Business Club – including the establishment of King’s Capital, the London Fintech Conference, and the Alternative Investment Conference. Furthermore, within the three years since its foundation, two of its members have been elected and have served as Presidents of the Society: Toby Bottomley, and Paul Benter.
For the committee members of the Finance department of King’s Business Club, it is one of opportunity and promise.
