Through many years, King’s Business Club (KBC) has maintained its reputation as the premier student business and finance society both at King’s College London and throughout the United Kingdom. KBC has helped students from various backgrounds and faculties to come together and gain knowledge about the most recent developments in a variety of industries and businesses. We are therefore honoured to present a fresh new opportunity for you to create value for everyone at King’s!

KBR: The King’s Business Review is an online magazine that is initiated by the King’s Business Club’s Publication Department. It will feature five categories:  Finance & Economics, Politics Arts & Culture, Science & Technology and @King’s Editor. These five spaces will encapsulate and harbour creative works by contributors to showcase the business world’s hold over the rest of the world and vice versa. 

 KBR is a platform that aims to harbour the creative and academic insights of students into a single digital hub. Our main goal with KBR is to de-mystify and encourage conversations of Business and Finance which can be intimidating to many. Through the articles and op-eds as part of the KBR initiative, readers will be able to access content which emphasise the importance of these two fields and their presence in the everyday world. KBR is where business meets the rest of the world.   

We are currently looking to hire category editors for King’s Business Review, with the following key responsibilities: 

  • Will edit and manage articled for their category page. 
  • Bring in contributors for their category page. 
  • Post articles on the website regularly and contribute to it themselves. 
  • Brainstorm article ideas and assign articles to contributor.
  • Work closely with the other Editors and the Editor-in-chief. 
  • Participate in regular Executive meetings as required by the position.  
  • Someone who has a good operational as well as creative acumen. 

Essential Skills & Attributes:

  • Prior experience in writing or editing and leadership preferable however not prerequisite 
  • Expected to engage proactively within the club. 
  • Strong work ethic with collaborative and receptive communication.  
  • Independent and responsible. 
  • Expected to engage proactively within the club.

Please read the form carefully, and submit your curriculum vitae and the task as outlined in the application form. 

If your stage 1 application is successful, we will send you a confirmation email. You should then prepare for Stage2. 

Stage 2: Interview.

The deadline for application is 12th October 2020. You will be notified shortly after one of the status of your application.
