There is no better way to end the semester: King’s Business Club (KBC) won the Society of the Year Award 2022.
From hosting Muhammad Yunus and Axel Hefer to partnering with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Harvard Business School, our committee of 106 members has extended our impact beyond events by offering mentorship programs to fellow students and organizing galas to boost the culture and planning internship pathways.
The 2021/2022 academic year enabled KBC to reach a new height and unlock inspiring achievements. A compact list of our successes includes:
- Becoming the largest society in the UK in terms of external members, committee size, and social media followers.
- Hosting over 86 internal events and over 176 events with our partner societies in just 11 months – the highest number in our history.
- Inaugurating the Law, Technology, and ESG department while making business more accessible for more students with our 8 departments and 4 projects.
- Being nominated for the BrightNetwork and NUE Best Society Award and winning the KBS Best Society of the Year Award 2022.
Our committee and leadership have strived for an impact on campus and beyond. We have organized international trips, established expansion projects to Queen Mary and Brunel University and co-led diversity programs for underrepresented student bodies.
This year’s work was a token of our hard work while we strived “to inspire, to educate, and to connect.”
