Do you want to find out more about how the current global situation is affecting the business sector, especially in Asia?

King’s Business Club is delighted to invite you to our new online event: Business during the Pandemic – Asia. Our two distinguished speakers are Mr Thaw Zin Aung Gyi and Mr Htet Myet Oo, both active professionals in the field. Thaw Zi graduated from Brown University and the University of Oxford and he is a co-founder of Klustur, an early-stage startup that provides an on-demand platform for high school students to get 1:1 coaching with college students for their US college applications. Htet is a Myanmar-born, 30-year-old restaurateur and managing director of RTH Group Ltd., a restaurant group focused in the emerging sector of local cuisine. Htet is a graduate of City University London, where he received a Bachelors in Economics in 2012.

In the first part of the event, the founder of Klustur will provide an insight on launching the start-up during the pandemic. In the second part of the event, the founder of a casual dining restaurant in Myanmar—Rangoon Tea House—which holds commendations of Financial Times, CN Traveller, and CNN Travel, and who is also named on Forbes’ first ever 30 Under 30 Asia list, will be speaking on the topic of the impact of COVID-19 on businesses.
