In collaboration with KCL MAPS, we are welcoming Huib van Bockel, CEO and Founder of TENZING Natural Energy, to KCL.

TENZING Natural Energy launched in 2016 and was inspired by Sherpa Tenzing – one of the first two men to summit Mt. Everest. Based on the energising brews Sherpas use on their high altitude expeditions, and with the help of the Tenzing family, TENZING created their plant-based triple hit of natural caffeine, electrolytes and vitamin C.

Since 2017, TENZING have grown 300% year on year and are forecast to turnover £7.5million in 2020, making them the fastest growing drink in Sports & Energy for three years in a row. This talk will be a masterclass in how to build and market a disruptive brand, like TENZING.

The evening will also be a chance to find out about TENZING’s ambassador program.

The King's Building is a Grade I listed building that forms part of the Strand Campus of King's College London in the United Kingdom. Originally named the College Building, the King's Building was designed by Sir Robert Smirke in the course of the College's foundation in 1829. As the founding building, it was built between 1829 and 1831 on land granted to King's College by the Government to complete the riverside frontage of Somerset House.

In contrast, the Edmond J. Safra Lecture Theatre is a modern, state-of-the-art, tiered theatre with a capacity to seat 250 people. It is located on the ground floor of the King's building and was instated after a £40 million redevelopment project was completed in 2004 to renovate the south range of the historic King's Building.
