King’s Business Review is proud to announce its upcoming event “How To Kickstart a Career in Media”.

This seminar will provide key insights for individuals who want to begin a successful career in the media industry.

The speaker panel includes recent graduates and professionals who will share their expertise that has enabled them to excel in their careers.

Our speakers are:

Camomile Shumba is an intern at Bloomberg News and is part of the Women in Journalism’s Committee. Her work has been featured in Bloomberg, Harper’s Bazaar and Black Ballad.

Poppy Koronka is a NCTJ-trained journalist who has interned at CNN and the FT. She gained her NCTJ diploma from News Associates with the assistance of the Journalism Diversity Fund.

Sam Turner is the Founder and ex-Editor-in-Chief of King’s Strand Magazine. He has professional experience in a variety of media and publication organisations.

Jo Hayma works in Publishing at Penguin Books and has experience working for Tatler.
