KCLBC is happy to announce IdeaBox, an intriguing new competition for King’s students to improve and develop their business ideas into start-ups!

It will consist on a series of workshops and talks during the weekend aimed at supporting students with entrepreneurial spirit to either develop their own start-up ideas or spontaneously form a group and come up with a business plan. The workshops will cover core aspects of a business such as finance, marketing, app and web development, leadership and management, raising funding, etc. Not only will you learn crucial skills for your start-up but will also have the opportunity to learn first-hand from other successful entrepreneur’s stories. Hence, we are provding you with amazing new skills, opportunities to network and funding!

Students will then have a couple of days to further develop their business plans and build a presentation, pitching their ideas to a panel of judges in a setting similar to Dragon’s Den, for the chance to win an investment package of £5000.
