The Apprentice Challenge is a chance for KCL students to take part in business-oriented tasks, with the winning team heading to the London Apprentice Finals. It is the student adaption to the popular TV show, “The Apprentice” led by Lord Alan Sugar in the UK and billionaire Donald Trump in the US. The tasks last year included working with fashion brand Rapanui and pitching their products to Harrods. Creating a marketing campaign for credit card reader company iZettle. And the final task was for the teams to create their own business and generate as much possible profit over the course of a week through a platform called Sooqini.

Any student from Kings is able to apply, regardless of what area of study and year. The Apprentice Challenge is a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded students and a chance to make some valuable contacts as the companies that the KCL Apprentice Challenge has worked with have been looking for talented individuals. The winning team of last year received internship opportunities and a few students received job offers.

Last year the KCL team not only managed to win the London National Apprentice, but also the National Student Apprentice, receiving a grand prize of £5,000.

We expect big things from you!!

Top 16 applicants will be chosen for the KCL Apprentice that will take place the weekend of the 16th and 17th of November.

The deadline to apply is 25th October so please fill out the application form (http://www.kclbc.com/events/69) if you would like to take part. Interviews will be taking place the week after that.
