King’s Business Club in collaboration with the popular finance page on Instagram, IBD Events are organising a finance event open to students and graduates all across and around London. The planned event will have two panel discussions followed by Q/A and a casual networking session. The first panel discussion will be with career-focused students that have managed to make a way into the industry by securing grad schemes while meticulously managing their academics, society engagements and internships simultaneously. Students on our panel will be from universities such as Cambridge, London School of Economics and King’s College London that have converted their summer internships at places like Rothschild, Evercore, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan into full-time graduate roles. The second discussion will be with finance professionals across different institutions relating to jobs in investment banking, private equity, research, wealth management, hedge funds etc. For this panel, we have professionals across Tyndaris, Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, HSBC and Barclays. At the end of the panel discussion, the floor will be open for casual chit-chatting with the panelists and other attendees.
