Dear friends and aspiring investment bankers,

UIBS 2018 is now officially opened! Welcome back to UK’s largest finance competition, the UK Investment Banking Series (UIBS)! We are the nation’s most professional and well-connected competition on IB, co-organised by top finance societies across UCL, LSE, Imperial, King’s and Warwick. Many past UIBS participants have received invaluable insights into IB work and gone on to secure competitive internships in the City.

There are two competitions available to compete in; the M&A Challenge and the S&T Challenge, that you can compete in with teams of up to 5 (M&A) and teams of 3 (S&T).

M&A CHALLENGE
In the M&A challenge, teams will be given a case study of a recent European acquisition, and be asked to analyse the target company and advise on deal execution. Following a preliminary pitchbook submission, the highest quality entries will be progressed to the Final Round, where each team will pitch their case to a board of prominent industry judges.
The overall winning team will be awarded a £300 cash prize and a Certificate of Distinction.

SALES & TRADING CHALLENGE
The Sales and Trading (S&T) challenge consists of a 2-week first round in which you trade the FTSE100 in a team of 3 to maximize growth. The best teams from this proceed to a final which includes a realistic and intense 4-hour trading simulation.
The winning team will be awarded a £300 cash prize, a one week internship at Amplify Trading, and a Certificate of Distinction.
